About Ginger al Dente.

A redhead inspired to start cooking at 30, now 3 years later and I’m still having fun creating with food. Most of my meals are “experiments”, and I plan to post the good with the bad. Unless otherwise noted, all meals are my orignal creations.

I love to eat and I love food. I love easy, fast dishes, and other times I love to take forever and use every pot and pan to make one meal. I love to create healthy dishes, but I also love high-calorie foods, so often I find myself substituting, changing things up and just playing around. It’s rarely perfect, but it’s always flavorful! Many recipes are gluten free. Sometimes they are vegetarian and/or vegan too.

My love of cooking blossomed under the adventurous palate of my partner in love, Chuck, who will mostly be lovingly referred to as Honey in my posts. 🙂

My other passion is photography. I use Flickr to archive my fun.

    Hi Ginger,
    Read about your Mace tea and am interested in getting some too. Where did you get it from?

      Thanks for your comment. 🙂 I actually ordered 2 pounds of Mace from ebay, and I think it came from Malaysia! It was a great deal! You can usually find whole mace at Kroger, or any whole foods type market, however, just not that type of quantity.
